Thank you for your interest in this study. We are researching how well people and artificial intelligence (AI) work together on perception-based decision tasks. In the following you will receive a short overview of the study procedure. Please read the instructions and data protection notice carefully.
Short overview of the procedure
The study will take about 30–40 minutes. We’ll start by explaining how the AI system works and guide you through the tasks using examples and tooltips. Afterwards you’ll complete 10 blocks of 20 trials on your own. In each trial, you receive an image with blue and orange pixels and decide which color is more prevalent.
Compensation
You will receive £9 as compensation for your participation. We can only compensate compliant trials; repeatedly failing attention checks or finishing implausibly fast may lead to exclusion from compensation.
Data protection
All responses are stored and processed anonymously. It is not possible to identify you personally. Find detailed information here.
